Set in the leafy suburb of Kirkstall, just 3 miles from the city centre, is the most historic venue in Leeds. Situated amongst leafy parkland, the abbey ruins are steeped in over 870 years of history.
The open air church offers up to 500 guests a seat amongst the spectacular ruins, and provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photography all year round.
The idyllic setting can host intimate and elaborate celebrations, with plenty of space to suit every style of wedding. Weddings in the church are followed by welcome drinks in the historic Rose Room, which is complete with original artefacts from the abbey ruins.
If the weather is a little rainy or cool, the Rose Room can host the full ceremony and welcome drinks, with a capacity of up to 40 guests.
