Meet local wedding photographer, Scott Antcliffe

Scott Antcliffe is a professional wedding photographer who has recently left the teaching profession where he was a primary school teacher and senior leader for the last ten years, due to increasing demand for his photography services. For the past two years Scott worked as a specialist specials needs teacher for Derbyshire County Council. Now being able to concentrate on the business fully, Scott has an increased availability to take on more bookings.

Outside of weddings, Scott has recently been named Wanderlust Magazine’s Travel Photographer of the Year and has since worked with the Singapore Tourism board, Malawi Tourism Board and other travel publications within the UK, including The Times, The Telegraph and others.

Scott also has extensive experience in music and live event photography and has photographed the likes of Ed Sheeran, Michael Buble, Take That, Bryan Adams, Tom Grennan, Def Leppard and many others.

Based on the border of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, Scott travels nationally and even overseas for destination weddings. Past weddings have included Italy, Greece and even Canada.

A natural documentary-style photographer with a creative flair, Scott likes to incorporate the landscape and surroundings within his images including aerial drone photography. He has a great personality and couples and their guests often comment about his laid back and friendly nature and has a knack for putting everyone at ease on their wedding day. He's even been known to take a young guest under his wing and teach them how to use a camera on the wedding day.

Known for his unobtrusive, relaxed style, Scott won’t make you do awkward poses or take you away from your guests for too long as he'll efficiently get the shots that matter the most to you whilst making the most of the natural light.
